The Thousand Pillared Temple Warangal (once upon a time).

Today, I have visited The Thousand Pillared Temple in Waranagal. Warangal is previously called
'Orugallu'. This temple was built in the year 1163 A.D by rulers of Kakatiya Dynasty. Basically it is a temple of three Hindu gods named Shiva, Vishnu and Surya built on a platform of 1 meter high. The temple itself is a masterpiece of architecture.
From name it is understood that it is a temple with 1000 pillars, considering the fact that the temple is 850 years old quite a few number of pillars are present. But the government of Telangana is putting some effort to re establish the glory of the temple.
